Little Big Town axes shows to mourn death

Country quartet Little Big Town have postponed two upcoming shows following a death in the band's "immediate family."

The "Pontoon" hitmakers were due to play shows in Riverside, California on Wednesday and in Los Angeles the following day, but they've scrapped the performances to mourn a loved one.

A post on the band's Facebook page reads, "Sadly, the Little Big Town family has suffered a loss in their immediate family and will have to cancel their upcoming concerts in Riverside, CA (11/28) and Los Angeles, CA (11/29)."

"Riverside, CA will be rescheduled at a later date and the Los Angeles show at The Wiltern will now take place on February 8, 2013. Tickets for The Wiltern show will be honored on the rescheduled night. The band would like to thank their fans for their understanding and compassion during this very difficult time."
